I'm not a sports fan by any means and even more so - after this Brett Farve Fiasco - otherwise known as BFF. For the last week or more, I haven't even watched the news - it is all Brett, Brett, Brett. I feel like Jan Brady.

I have my own personal opinion on this and that is Brett has behaved like a four year old not getting his way. You can't leave a job and come back and expect it back. What kind of team player, expects the replacement to loose his job just because Brett "wants to come back"? That truly isn't a BFF if you ask me.

Just curious - what do you hear in other parts of the country?

He's just like Michael Jordan although he didn't try a new sport.

sigh

I don't really like football except that I claim that the Packers are my favorite team. Mostly, because they aren't the vikings and Brett Favre used to be cute.

Now he just looks tired.

Maybe he should retire.

Ya know, for good.

Ok, here I go. I used to like the guy. But ever since he started to retire and come back and retire and come back.... This last stunt was a last drop for me. Just retire, dude :o)
Oh and Jets are playing Cleveland Browns tonight at our neck of the woods so he is supposed to be here. Woopity doooo!

wow. . .

that's pretty much all I can say.

People get heated up over such small things. If only they could use that energy for good.

I am a HUGE Packer fan, and Brett Favre fan as well. I don't think he started this process with the intent to take advantage of the Packers, but somewhere along the line, things got muddied and he wanted everything back the way it was, long after the Packers moved on without him. I think Packers management did *exactly* the right thing - Brett can't continuously every year play the, 'Hmmm...should I retire?' game. Somewhere along the line he became a prima donna about this, and I want the old "Good ol' boy" Brett back, even if he's playing for the Jets!

I am a Packers and Favre fan (okay, I worship football), and I am biting my tongue because I have read MANY (mostly reputable) things about how Packers management mishandled this whole thing. I don't want to get going because you really don't want a rant that long in your comments.
